Job Description

Accentuate Staffing is partnering with an established heavy civil construction company that is in search of a Superintendent to join their team. This direct-hire, onsite opportunity is based in Smithfield, North Carolina. The ideal candidate brings at least five years of experience supervising pipe and culvert installation on heavy civil projects, along with strong field leadership, scheduling, and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities Coordinate daily field activities according to project priorities and plans, adjusting for weather, deliveries, material availability, equipment, and staffing. Delegate work and project responsibilities to foremen and subcontractors while providing the resources and staffing needed to meet schedules, regulations, safety requirements, and industry best practices. Supervise pipe and culvert installation and ensure projects meet contractual deadlines and weekly production goals. Promote the safe use of tools, machinery, and equipment across all assigned project sites. Resolve field conflicts and miscommunications quickly and effectively. Manage multiple projects and regularly report status, risks, progress, and equipment needs to project managers, site engineers, supervisors, and other project stakeholders. Plan and lead weekly field meetings to update project management on current operations and equipment moves. Requirements Minimum of five years of experience supervising pipe and culvert installation on heavy civil construction projects. Proven ability to lead field crews, foremen, and subcontractors across multiple projects. Strong organizational, time-management, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, management, and leadership skills. Current OSHA 10 certification or higher is preferred. #accentuate2
Pay:
$80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
