Development Manager

Multigenerational Commercial Real Estate Development Company located in Wilmington, NC in search of a development manager who has experience with ground up, wood frame multi-family projects including market rate and student housing.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and direct projects from groundbreaking to completion Review the project in-depth to confirm deliverables and estimate costs Oversee all onsite and offsite constructions to monitor compliance with building regulations Coordinate and direct general contractors Meet contractual conditions of performance Review the work progress on daily basis Prepare internal and reports pertaining to job status Plan ahead to prevent problems and resolve any emerging ones Negotiate terms of agreements, draft contracts and obtain permits and licenses Analyze, manage and mitigate risks Ensure quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques

Requirements:

BA/BS in real estate, construction management, engineering, or business 5+ years of industry related experience; specifically, student housing or multi-family industry Willingness to travel locally and out of state Must live in or be willing to relocate to
