In this role, you will oversee and execute paving operations, ensuring high-quality results that meet project specifications and safety standards. Your expertise in construction management, project scheduling, and site supervision will drive the successful completion of paving projects across diverse environments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale infrastructure developments while utilizing cutting-edge construction management software and tools. Duties Lead paving activities on construction sites, coordinating with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure timely execution. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute paving layouts. Manage daily operations on-site, supervising paving crews and ensuring adherence to safety protocols such as OSHA standards. Conduct quality control inspections using tools like ohmmeters and ensure all work meets specified standards and client expectations. Oversee material procurement, including asphalt, concrete, and other paving materials, maintaining proper inventory levels. Monitor project progress through detailed site inspections, managing schedules with Primavera P6 and adjusting plans as needed to meet deadlines. Ensure compliance with contracts and safety regulations while maintaining a focus on efficiency and cost control. Qualifications Proven experience in paving operations within the construction industry, with a strong background in construction site management. Supervising experience leading paving crews or similar teams on large-scale projects. Skilled in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating techniques. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices for construction site safety. Strong management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple teams and maintain project schedules effectively. Familiarity with quality control procedures, including use of testing equipment like ohmmeters for electrical inspections.
