The Data Center Project Superintendent coordinates field activities, manages subcontractors, and ensures projects meet scope, schedule, and quality expectations within a commercial construction environment. Responsibilities Oversee day-to-day field operations for data center construction projects, with a primary focus on core and shell work. Coordinate and supervise subcontractors to ensure work aligns with project plans, specifications, and schedules. Support overall project management activities, including planning, sequencing, and monitoring construction progress. Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and field teams to resolve issues and maintain project momentum. Monitor quality and safety on site, ensuring all work meets required standards and complies with relevant regulations. Assist in tracking project milestones and reporting progress to internal stakeholders. Help manage project documentation related to field activities, including logs, updates, and status reports. Essential Skills Proven experience in commercial construction, specifically within data center projects. Hands-on experience with core and shell construction for large-scale facilities. Demonstrated background in project management within a construction environment. Experience supervising and managing subcontractors on active job sites. Strong organizational and coordination skills to manage multiple field activities simultaneously. Ability to interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project plans. Effective communication skills to work with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders. Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in a superintendent role on commercial or data center projects. Exposure to both field supervision and project management responsibilities. Familiarity with standard construction management practices and processes. Ability to contribute to project planning and scheduling discussions. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to resolving site issues. Work Environment This position operates primarily on active construction sites within commercial data center projects. The superintendent works closely with field crews, subcontractors, and project management staff in a fast-paced environment focused on timely delivery of core and shell construction. The role involves regular on-site presence, coordination of multiple trades, and adherence to safety and quality standards typical of large-scale commercial construction. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of West Fargo, ND. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $58.00 - $58.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
