Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced (at least 2 years managing people) Landscape Construction Operations Manager to lead our outdoor projects with enthusiasm and precision. You must want to lead and be a proven leader. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the planning, execution, and completion of landscape construction projects, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency. Your leadership will drive team performance, coordinate resources, and deliver exceptional outdoor environments that delight clients and elevate our company's reputation. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage diverse landscaping initiatives while fostering a collaborative and motivated work culture. Duties Lead and supervise multiple landscape construction crews, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and to client specifications Coordinate daily operations including scheduling, resource allocation, and procurement of materials for construction projects Oversee installation of hardscape features such as patios, walkways, retaining walls, and outdoor structures with precision and attention to detail Manage irrigation systems installation and maintenance to ensure optimal landscape health and water efficiency Conduct plant identification assessments, oversee grounds maintenance activities, and ensure proper horticultural practices are followed Operate company vehicles and grounds maintenance equipment safely while adhering to all safety protocols Supervise team members' performance, provide mentorship, conduct training sessions on landscape techniques, equipment operation, and safety procedures Ability to bid jobs, meet and talk with customers in a sales capacity. Skills Extensive outdoor work experience with a strong background in landscaping, lawn care, and grounds maintenance Proven supervising experience managing crews in large-scale landscape or construction projects Knowledge of plant identification, horticulture principles, tree care practices, and gardening techniques Skilled in irrigation management including installation, troubleshooting, and repair of irrigation systems Ability to operate landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, excavators, and hardscape tools safely and efficiently Strong leadership qualities with excellent team management skills; capable of motivating staff toward shared goals Construction experience with a focus on hardscape installations and outdoor project execution Exceptional organizational skills to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining high standards of quality Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles in various outdoor environments Profit sharing opportunities based on company performance and potential health insurance benefits.
