This role is vital in ensuring projects are executed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. As a key leader on-site, you will coordinate teams, manage schedules, review technical drawings, and ensure compliance with all safety and construction regulations. Your expertise will drive project success while fostering a collaborative environment that emphasizes safety, quality, and timely delivery. Responsibilities Lead and manage on-site construction activities, supervising crews and subcontractors to ensure work progresses according to project plans and schedules. Review and interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction drawings to verify accuracy and guide construction efforts. Develop, maintain, and update detailed project schedules using construction management software such as Primavera P6 or similar tools; coordinate schedule adjustments as needed. Oversee safety protocols in compliance with federal construction safety regulations (OSHA) and company policies; conduct regular safety audits and enforce safety standards on-site. Manage project budgets, track costs, and implement cost control measures to stay within financial targets. Coordinate with project stakeholders including clients, architects, engineers, and suppliers to ensure seamless communication and project alignment. Conduct quality control inspections to verify adherence to specifications, schematics, and construction regulations; address any issues promptly. Review contracts, change orders, and manage procurement processes utilizing HeavyBid or other relevant software tools. Supervise the interpretation of technical drawings and schematics; ensure all team members understand project requirements thoroughly. Facilitate effective management of project timelines by coordinating construction scheduling activities across multiple teams. Oversee construction site safety management practices; ensure all team members are trained on OSHA standards and federal safety regulations. Utilize construction management software for tracking progress, documenting issues, managing documentation via Bluebeam or ProCore platforms. Lead crew management efforts by supervising team performance, providing coaching, managing conflict resolution, and fostering a positive work environment. Experience Proven experience managing residential or commercial construction projects with a strong background in construction management software such as Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid or Primavera. Extensive knowledge of construction scheduling techniques and project scheduling tools; ability to develop realistic timelines that meet project deadlines. Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and interpret complex construction plans accurately. Strong understanding of federal safety regulations (OSHA), construction regulations, quality control standards, and best practices in construction site safety management. Supervisory experience managing teams in a fast-paced residential or commercial construction environment; excellent crew management skills. Familiarity with managing contracts, change orders, procurement processes, budgeting tools, and cost tracking systems. Hands-on experience with blueprint reading, interpreting technical drawings & schematics using tools like Ohmmeter for electrical components if applicable. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams; strong managerial communication skills essential for coordinating multiple stakeholders on-site.
