In this vital role, you will oversee daily site operations, manage teams of construction professionals, ensure safety compliance, and maintain project schedules. Your expertise in construction management software and technical drawing review will drive project success while adhering to all safety and regulatory standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence large-scale commercial construction projects through effective leadership, strategic planning, and rigorous quality control. Duties Supervise daily construction activities on-site, ensuring work progresses according to schedule and specifications. Manage and coordinate subcontractors, crew members, and vendors to optimize productivity and safety. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints to verify construction accuracy and resolve issues promptly. Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Prolog, HeavyBid, and OSHAsafety regulations to plan, track, and report project progress. Conduct regular site inspections to enforce safety protocols in compliance with federal construction safety regulations and OSHA standards. Review contracts, manage project budgets, and oversee scheduling efforts to ensure timely delivery within scope. Coordinate with project managers on construction schedule adjustments and quality control measures to meet project milestones. Skills Extensive experience with construction site management including supervising teams in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Prolog, HeavyBid, and Primavera for scheduling and documentation purposes. Strong understanding of construction regulations, safety standards (OSHA), blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawings review. Skilled in managing project schedules through Primavera P6 or similar tools; adept at coordinating complex construction timelines. Excellent communication skills for effective management of crews, subcontractors, clients, and stakeholders. Ability to interpret technical drawings accurately using tools like ohmmeters for electrical schematics when necessary. Proven track record in managing budgets, quality control processes, and ensuring compliance with federal safety regulations on heavy civil or commercial projects.
