Construction Project Manager

Construction Project Manager Job Description We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager who can expertly navigate the intricacies of industrial and commercial construction projects. This role involves reading and interpreting blueprints, detecting potential clashes, and managing negotiations with subcontractors. You will work closely with the design coordination and project team to ensure seamless execution of the construction process. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints to guide construction projects. Detect and address potential clashes in the construction process. Manage and negotiate contracts with subcontractors effectively. Be present on-site five days a week, with potential weekend work as necessary. Collaborate with the design coordination and project team. Prepare and manage 2-week lookahead schedules. Handle Requests for Information (RFI's), change orders, and submittals. Essential Skills 10 years of project management experience. Expertise in industrial construction and machinery installation. Proficiency in managing RFI's, change orders, and commercial construction projects. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience with healthcare or pharmaceutical projects is advantageous. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Cedar Knolls, NJ. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $60.00/hr.
