Health insurance and paid time off Position Summary We are looking for an organized and dependable Construction Project Manager to work closely with the Director of Construction and assist with projects from buyout and groundbreaking through completion and closeout. This position combines office work, financial tracking, technology, and jobsite coordination. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with subcontractors, budgets, spreadsheets, construction documents, and field personnel. Responsibilities Assist with subcontractor buyouts, bid comparisons, scope reviews, and contract awards. Track project budgets, invoices, change orders, commitments, and costs. Maintain schedules, meeting notes, project logs, and construction documents. Coordinate with subcontractors, architects, engineers, vendors, inspectors, and field personnel. Conduct jobsite walks and help manage inspections, punch lists, and project closeout. Provide clear and timely project updates to the Director of Construction. Help improve project reporting, spreadsheets, technology, and internal processes. Qualifications Relevant experience in construction project management, construction operations, project controls, or construction finance. Understanding of the construction process from groundbreaking through completion. Familiarity with New Jersey construction, permitting, inspections, and closeout procedures. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Good financial and numerical skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and other business or construction software. Ability to read construction plans, scopes of work, proposals, and project documents. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to project locations throughout New Jersey. Work Environment This position includes working in a professional office, jobsite trailer, and active construction sites. The employee must be able to walk through jobsites, use stairs and ladders, stand or walk for extended periods, and lift ordinary office or jobsite materials weighing up to approximately 30 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Pay:
$75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
