Showroom Manager Atlantic Plumbing Supply - Long Branch, NJ Salary is negotiable depending on experience Role Description The Showroom Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Long Branch, NJ, overseeing daily operations of the showroom across all product categories. The Showroom Manager leads and trains showroom staff, sets sales goals, monitors performance, and supports the team in meeting and exceeding targets. Day-to-day tasks include assisting customers with product choices, preparing quotes, coordinating with the warehouse and sales teams, and resolving customer issues promptly and professionally. The role also involves maintaining product displays, staying current on new product lines, and implementing merchandising and promotional strategies to drive showroom traffic and sales. This role serves as the showroom leader, providing expert guidance to homeowners, contractors, plumbers, builders, architects, and interior designers throughout the kitchen and bath product selection process. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Sales & Customer Service Lead showroom sales efforts to achieve revenue and profitability goals. Consult with homeowners, contractors, builders, and design professionals on kitchen, bath, and decorative plumbing selections. Ensure exceptional customer service throughout the project lifecycle. Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers to grow showroom business. Resolve customer concerns professionally and promptly. Showroom Operations Manage day-to-day showroom activities and ensure an attractive, organized, and welcoming environment. Oversee product displays, vignettes, and merchandising to reflect current trends and best-selling product lines. Maintain showroom standards, policies, and procedures. Coordinate with purchasing, inventory, and management teams to support product availability and customer needs. Team Leadership Supervise, coach, and support showroom consultants and sales associates. Provide sales tools, product training, and resources to help staff succeed. Set performance expectations and monitor team results. Foster a collaborative, customer-focused culture. Vendor & Product Management Develop and maintain strong contacts with manufacturers and vendor representatives. Stay informed on new products, technology, market trends, and promotional opportunities. Evaluate and introduce new product lines to enhance showroom offerings. Coordinate vendor displays, literature, and showroom updates. Marketing & Business Development Partner with company leadership on marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns. Build relationships with contractors, plumbers, builders, architects, and interior designers to drive referrals and sales growth. Participate in networking events, trade shows, and industry activities. Support advertising, social media, and showroom event efforts. Qualifications Required 3-5+ years of showroom, retail, design, or sales management experience. Strong knowledge of plumbing fixtures, kitchen and bath products, decorative hardware, or related building products. Proven ability to lead a sales team and achieve business goals. Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Preferred Experience in plumbing supply, kitchen & bath, home improvement, construction, or interior design industries. Knowledge of residential construction and remodeling processes. Design background or product specification experience.
