What We're Looking For:
The Assistant Project Manager supports the Project Management team with the day-to-day coordination and administrative needs of landscape and site construction projects. This position works closely with Project Managers to help keep projects organized, materials moving, and project documentation up to date. The Assistant Project Manager is responsible for assisting with submittals, material buyouts, quantity takeoffs, and other tasks assigned by the Project Manager. This role is an important support position within the Project Management department and provides an opportunity to develop knowledge and experience in landscape and site construction. Key Responsibilities Assist Project Managers with the day-to-day needs of their projects. Prepare and track material and product submittals. Assist with material buyouts and coordinate with vendors to obtain pricing, availability, and lead times. Perform quantity takeoffs from plans, specifications, and project documents. Assist Project Managers with pricing, material selections, and project documentation. Help organize and maintain project files and documentation. Follow up with vendors and subcontractors as needed at the direction of the Project Manager. Assist with gathering information and documentation needed for projects. Communicate project-related information to Project Managers and other team members. Complete other project-related tasks as assigned by the Project Manager.

The Assistant Project Manager should be organized, detail-oriented, dependable, and willing to learn. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines are important. This position works as part of the Project Management team and is expected to provide reliable support to Project Managers throughout the life of a project.
