Residential Construction Project Manager

Job Description

We are a growing residential construction company based in Monmouth County looking for an experienced, organized, and hands-on Residential Construction Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate has strong residential construction knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects from start to finish. This position is responsible for coordinating subcontractors and vendors, maintaining schedules and budgets, communicating with homeowners, and ensuring that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the quality standards that have become a hallmark of the Pure Construction Group Corp. Responsibilities Manage residential construction projects from pre-construction through final completion Ability to learn and utilize an app-based project management software platform Develop and maintain project schedules and coordinate daily/weekly activities Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, vendors, inspections, and deliveries Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed according to plans and specifications Review plans, drawings, scopes of work, and project specifications Perform regular job-site visits and maintain a high standard of workmanship Identify potential construction issues and develop solutions before they become costly problems Communicate regularly with homeowners regarding project progress, schedules, selections, and changes. Provide progress reports and upload progress photos via the client portal on the project management software platform. Coordinate and document change orders and additional work Track project budgets, costs, materials, and labor Work closely with ownership to maintain project profitability Maintain accurate project documentation, schedules, and records Ensure projects remain on schedule and within established budgets Coordinate with building departments and inspectors as needed Conduct project walkthroughs, punch lists, and final closeout Maintain a clean, safe, and professional job site Build and maintain strong relationships with subcontractors, vendors, and clients Help improve company processes, scheduling, estimating, and project management systems Qualifications 4+ years of residential construction project management experience preferred Strong understanding of residential construction methods and sequencing Experience managing subcontractors and multiple trades Ability to read and understand construction plans and specifications Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent communication and customer-service skills Ability to identify problems and make sound decisions in the field Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of projects Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Buildertrend Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to travel to residential job sites throughout New Jersey Preferred Qualifications Experience with residential additions, renovations, and/or custom homes Experience with estimating, budgeting, and change orders Knowledge of New Jersey residential building codes and permitting processes Established relationships with quality subcontractors and vendors Experience using construction management software such as Buildertrend, What We Offer Competitive salary based on experience Performance-based bonus opportunities Paid time off Opportunities for advancement A professional, team-oriented work environment Direct access to company ownership and the ability to make an impact Variety of high-quality residential construction projects throughout New Jersey Who We're Looking For We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work and understands that successful residential construction is about more than simply completing tasks. Pay:
From $33.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
