Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Residential Remodeler to oversee and execute high-quality home renovation projects. In this role, you will lead remodeling teams, coordinate with clients and subcontractors, and ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and to the highest standards of craftsmanship. Your expertise in construction management, detailed planning, and hands-on skills will drive successful transformations of residential spaces, creating beautiful and functional homes for our clients. Responsibilities Lead and manage residential remodeling projects from start to finish, ensuring adherence to project plans, timelines, and budgets. Interpret technical drawings, construction plans, and specifications to guide team activities and ensure precise execution. Supervise the installation of building materials including flooring, trim carpentry, windows, glass, and hardscaping features such as patios or outdoor structures. Coordinate with clients to understand their vision and provide expert guidance on remodeling options and solutions. Oversee the use of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and specialized equipment like scaffolding or lifts safely and efficiently. Conduct construction inspections to verify quality control, safety compliance, and adherence to building codes and safety protocols. Manage subcontractors and suppliers for timely procurement of materials such as plumbing fixtures, electrical components, building materials, and hardware. Ensure all work complies with safety standards by enforcing safety protocols on-site during outdoor work or indoor renovations. Review construction estimates using construction estimating techniques to accurately forecast costs and resource needs. Maintain clear communication with project stakeholders through detailed documentation using tools like Bluebeam for digital plan review and markup. Experience Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in residential remodeling projects. Extensive hands-on experience with carpentry, trim carpentry, flooring installation, window installation, glass installation, electrical work, plumbing, and hardscaping construction projects. Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings and construction plans to guide project execution. Demonstrated ability to operate power tools, hand tools, heavy equipment safely in outdoor or indoor environments. Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, inspection procedures, and quality assurance practices related to residential construction. Prior experience managing teams of skilled tradespeople or subcontractors in a fast-paced remodeling setting is highly preferred. Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
