Job Description

Stockwell Construction specializes in structural steel, light iron & precast concrete installation. This position plays an important administrative role in helping keep projects organized and ensuring field teams have the information, documentation, and support they need to perform their work safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate understands the construction industry and can confidently communicate with superintendents, foremen, steel fabricators, contractors, and customers. Responsibilities Provide administrative support to company operations, leadership, and field personnel Organize, maintain, print and distribute construction information and documentation including drawings, blueprints, specifications, submittals, RFIs, change orders, purchase orders, permits, crane lift plans and safety documentation Support the operations and field teams project look-ahead schedules and communicate upcoming requirements Complete necessary crane permitting processes for annual certifications and project-specific requirements Serve as a point of contact for customers, contractors, suppliers, and visitors Monitor project status and provide updates to project stakeholders both internally (leadership) and externally (customers/clients) Answer incoming calls and respond to routine customer and project inquiries Support manpower, equipment, and project logistics coordination as needed Qualifications 2-4 years of administrative, coordination, or operations support experience Previous experience in construction, steel erection, crane services, or a related industry Understanding of construction terminology, drawings, and project documentation Bachelors degree preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks Excellent communication and customer service abilities Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to accuracy and follow-through Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with field and office personnel We offer advancement opportunities, a competitive starting hourly rate, benefits including 100% employer-paid health insurance , 401k with company match (subject to waiting period) and paid time off.
