Full Job Description Schedule:
Monday-Friday Commercial Cleaning Services of WNY is looking for a reliable, organized, and motivated individual to join our team as an assistant to the area manager. This position will work directly with the Area Manager and assist with the day-to-day operations of multiple commercial cleaning accounts throughout Western New York. This is a hands-on position that includes both administrative responsibilities and field work at customer locations. We are looking for someone who communicates well, is dependable, takes initiative, and is comfortable working with both employees and customers. The right person will be trained on our accounts and operations and will gradually take on more responsibilities independently. Responsibilities Assist the Area Manager with daily operations and account management Visit customer locations and perform routine cleaning inspections Follow up on customer complaints and cleaning concerns to ensure they are corrected Communicate with cleaning staff regarding expectations, schedules, complaints, and customer requests Help coordinate employee call-offs and coverage Assist with employee scheduling and staffing needs Help train new and existing cleaning employees Deliver cleaning supplies and equipment to customer locations as needed Monitor supply needs at various accounts Assist with hiring, interviews, onboarding, and new employee paperwork Help communicate schedule changes and other important information to employees Check in with employees and ensure assigned work is being completed properly Assist with opening new accounts and training employees on site-specific requirements Communicate professionally with customers when needed Help troubleshoot day-to-day staffing and operational issues Occasionally assist with cleaning or coverage when necessary Complete basic administrative tasks, emails, paperwork, and recordkeeping Assist the Area Manager with additional duties as needed Qualifications Valid driver's license required Reliable transportation required Dependable and punctual Strong communication and organizational skills Comfortable communicating with employees and providing direction when necessary Able to work independently and take initiative Able to manage multiple responsibilities and priorities Professional when interacting with customers Basic computer, email, and smartphone skills Willing and able to travel between customer locations throughout Western New York Previous commercial cleaning, supervisory, facilities, or management experience is preferred but not required Schedule This is a Monday-Friday position . Hours may vary depending on operational needs, employee training, inspections, customer needs, and coverage. Some flexibility with scheduling is required.
