Job Description

Pathfinder Village, a dynamic, open-access residential community for children and adults with Down syndrome and other intellectual disabilities, is seeking to fill the following positions in accordance with Pathfinder's mission "that each life may find meaning." The Post-Secondary and Community Habilitation Coordinator (PSCHC) provides leadership and administrative oversight to the operational processes and service delivery in all the Post Secondary Programs and Community Habilitation services provided at Pathfinder Village (OA/Camp/CH/CHR). The PSCHC collaborates with individuals, families and advocates to facilitate person-centered opportunities for those served. Through various oversight activities the PSCHC ensures compliance with applicable regulations and ensures consumer satisfaction of services. The PSCHC collaborates closely with the leadership team in both the residential and school settings to ensure best practices, especially with regard to person-centered and self-determination philosophies. This position works closely with the Residential Team Leaders and the Director of Education.
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities A valid NYS driver's license
Preferred:
2+ years of supervisory experience Licensed Teaching Assistant Annual salary starts at $50,000 Edmeston, NY, USA
