Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Superintendent/Project Manager specializing in ground-up construction projects to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in overseeing the successful delivery of ground up residential construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience managing all phases of construction, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and regulatory compliance. You will lead project teams, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure that projects are completed safely, on time, within scope, and within budget. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to large-scale development initiatives while demonstrating exceptional leadership and technical expertise. Responsibilities Lead and manage all aspects of ground-up construction projects, ensuring adherence to project plans, schedules, and budgets. Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software; coordinate construction schedule activities across teams. Oversee the preparation and review of construction plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure compliance with project requirements and regulations. Manage project budgets through cost control measures, including construction estimating, cost management, and financial reporting. Supervise construction site activities to ensure safety standards are maintained and regulatory compliance is achieved. Coordinate procurement processes utilizing Construction management software such as ProCore or Prolog; oversee subcontractor selection and management. Read blueprints and construction drawings accurately; interpret technical specifications for on-site implementation. Manage project teams by assigning tasks, monitoring progress, and fostering effective communication among stakeholders. Ensure timely resolution of issues related to construction scheduling, site logistics, or regulatory compliance. Maintain comprehensive documentation for all phases of the project for audit readiness and future reference. Skills Extensive experience with construction site management in commercial or infrastructure projects. Proficiency in project management tools including Primavera P6, ProCore, Bluebeam, Prolog, HeavyBid, and Microsoft Office Suite. Strong knowledge of construction estimating, scheduling, cost management, and regulatory standards. Ability to read and interpret complex construction plans and blueprints accurately. Demonstrated leadership in managing diverse teams within a fast-paced construction environment. Familiarity with civil 3D software for infrastructure design coordination. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively. Deep understanding of construction regulations and safety protocols applicable to large-scale projects. Experience managing budgets and contracts while maintaining strict adherence to project scope. Effective communication skills for coordinating with clients, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams. $150,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
