Job Description

Bolla Management Corp. operates 200+ Retail Gas Stations with Convenience Stores (C-Stores) and automotive repair shops. Bolla partners with major food chains like Burger King, Tim Horton, Pizza Hut and Subway. Bolla is a premier Wholesale and Retail Motor Fuel (MF) supplier in Metro New York and New Jersey areas. Through our Bolla Transport division the company hauls Motor Fuel in both New York and New Jersey areas. We supply MF to our 200+ locations as well as an additional 100 Wholesale Dealers. It also constructs Ultra-Modern and upscale Gas Stations with C-Stores. Bolla has over one Billion dollars in revenues and employs over 1200 Team Members. Job Overview The Construction Superintendent is the heartbeat of the job site. While the Project Manager handles the budget and high-level scheduling from the office, the Superintendent is the "boots on the ground" leader responsible for the physical execution of the project. Your primary goal is to ensure that work is performed safely , on time , and according to the blueprints .
Core Responsibilities On-Site Leadership:
Directing all field personnel and subcontractors. You are the final authority on-site for daily operations.
Schedule Management:
Creating and maintaining the "look-ahead" schedules (e.g., 2-week or 3-week intervals) to ensure milestones are met.
Quality Control:
Conducting regular inspections to ensure work meets code requirements and project specifications.
Safety Enforcement:
Implementing and enforcing OSHA standards and site-specific safety protocols. You are responsible for the well-being of every person on the site.
Coordination:
Managing the flow of materials and equipment deliveries to prevent bottlenecks.
Documentation:
Maintaining daily logs, tracking progress photos, and managing RFI (Request for Information) and submittal processes from the field.
Key Skills & Requirements Technical:
Proficiency in reading blueprints, understanding MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems, and knowledge of local building codes.
Leadership:
Conflict resolution, decisive problem-solving, and the ability to manage diverse personalities (subcontractors to owners).
Tech Savvy:
Familiarity with construction management software like Procore and MS Office. Experience Typically 5-10 years in the field, often starting as a foreman or in a specialized trade.
Pay:
$100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
