Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dependable Site Work Supervisor to oversee all phases of site development, including excavation, grading, utilities, and earthwork operations. This role is responsible for managing crews, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring that site work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with project plans and specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Supervise daily site work activities including excavation, grading, trenching, and utility installation Coordinate and direct field crews, equipment operators, and subcontractors Ensure compliance with safety standards, OSHA regulations, and company policies Read and interpret site plans, grading plans, and utility drawings Monitor production, track progress, and report on project milestones Schedule and oversee material deliveries and heavy equipment usage Perform site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to specifications Identify and resolve field issues, conflicts, or delays Maintain clear communication with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders Ensure proper erosion control and environmental compliance measures are followed

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent (additional training in construction and civil engineering preferred) Proven experience in site work, earthmoving and civil construction supervision Strong knowledge of grading, drainage, underground utilities, and site development processes Ability to read and understand civil, building and structural drawings and specifications Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills Experience operating or managing heavy equipment Experience with GPS site layout Experience with laser & pipe slope levels OSHA certification preferred (30 HR)

Working Conditions:

Outdoor work in various weather conditions and terrain Regular use of and proximity to heavy machinery and equipment May require extended hours, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends
