This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys being in the field, managing crews, solving problems, and driving projects to successful completion. If you have a strong knowledge in underground utilities, earthwork, and civil construction, this is a great opportunity to take ownership of impactful projects and work with a company that values safety, quality, and teamwork. What You'll Do As Superintendent, you'll oversee daily construction operations and ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards. Responsibilities Lead field operations on utility, site development, roadway, excavation, grading, drainage, and paving projects. Manage Foremen, crews, subcontractors, and vendors to keep projects running efficiently. Coordinate with Project Managers to develop schedules, site logistics, and work plans. Promote a strong safety culture and ensure OSHA compliance on all jobsites. Track project progress, manpower, equipment, and productivity. Oversee the installation of water mains, sewer systems, storm drainage, and other underground utilities. Review construction plans and specifications to ensure accurate execution in the field. Maintain communication with inspectors, engineers, municipalities, and utility companies. Ensure all work meets quality standards and project requirements. Mentor and develop field personnel while building strong, successful teams. Assist with project documentation, change orders, RFIs, and reporting. Support construction layout, survey coordination, and project planning efforts. Qualifications Required 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in heavy civil construction. Experience managing crews, subcontractors, and multiple jobsite activities.

Water main installation Sewer construction Underground utilities Site development Excavation and earthwork Drainage systems Roadway and paving projects Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. OSHA 10 and First Aid certifications. Valid driver's license. Preferred OSHA 30 certification. Experience with municipal, DOT, or public infrastructure projects. Familiarity with permitting and construction requirements in Westchester County.
