We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Construction Superintendents to oversee daily field operations, manage subcontractors and site personnel, and work closely with the Project Manager to successfully plan and execute each phase of construction. The ideal candidate is a strong leader who prioritizes safety, quality, communication, and schedule performance while maintaining a positive and productive job site. Duties & Responsibilities Lead, motivate, and inspire subcontractors, trades, and project team members to achieve project goals. Maintain a safe and organized construction site by ensuring all trades follow company safety policies and procedures. Perform and document weekly safety inspections. Communicate daily with the Project Manager to coordinate project activities, address challenges, and plan upcoming work. Manage, track, and update the project schedule to ensure milestones and deadlines are achieved. Lead subcontractors in completing work according to project schedules, company procedures, design documents, and industry standards. Coordinate all trades through regular foremen meetings and participate in weekly project coordination meetings with the Project Manager. Prepare, manage, and update two-week look-ahead schedules to identify upcoming activities, manpower needs, and potential conflicts. Update and distribute project schedules as required. Prepare accurate daily reports documenting onsite activities, including project progress, manpower, subcontractor activities, visitors, weather conditions, issues, and incidents. Review and understand construction drawings and specifications for all disciplines and proactively identify and resolve discrepancies. Perform quality control inspections to ensure all work meets project requirements, design documents, and industry standards. Coordinate inspections, deliveries, site logistics, and overall field execution of the project. Requirements & Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent managing retail, commercial, office build-out, or similar construction projects. Strong working knowledge of multiple construction trades, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Proven ability to lead subcontractors, manage schedules, and resolve field issues effectively. Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to maintain a safe, high-quality work environment while meeting project deadlines. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook. Experience with Procore or similar construction management software is a plus. We are looking for a hands-on leader who takes ownership of the jobsite, builds strong relationships with project partners, and delivers successful projects through teamwork, accountability, and attention to detail.
