Construction Superintendent - Mechanical Installations NYC Metro Area | Full-Time | $120,000 to $160,000 + Benefits + Project Performance Bonus About the Opportunity A well-established NYC mechanical contractor needs a Construction Superintendent to run day-to-day field operations on commercial and multifamily mechanical installs across the five boroughs. Scope includes central boiler plant replacements, heating system upgrades, plumbing installs, controls integration, and energy retrofit work on jobs ranging from $2M to $20M. You'll run the job from mobilization through close-out: crews, subs, safety, quality, schedule, and daily execution on-site. This is a hands-on field leadership role with long-term growth, project bonuses, and a shot at running some of the more complex mechanical installs in the city. Compensation & Benefits $120,000 to $160,000 base salary Project performance bonus ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) 401(k) with company match Medical, dental & vision insurance Paid Time Off Long-term career growth Responsibilities Run day-to-day field operations on active mechanical installs Direct foremen, field crews, subcontractors, and vendors to keep the job safe, on schedule, and up to spec Manage manpower, site logistics, and 2-week look-aheads Coordinate deliveries, DOB/FDNY inspections, material procurement, and trade sequencing Keep daily field reports, safety logs, and site documentation current Flag RFIs and change order opportunities and loop in the PM Enforce
