Job Description

Our client, a family-owned and operated HVAC company, is looking for an HVAC Installation Manager to join their growing team. Candidates must have 3-5 years of HVAC experience, including oil, natural gas, and air-conditioning. The selected candidate will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of residential and commercial installation projects, including workforce planning, material procurement, scheduling, and quality assurance. This role ensures projects are completed safely, efficiently, within budget, and in compliance with applicable codes and regulations. The position also provides leadership to field personnel and subcontractors, serves as the primary contact for customers, and resolves operational and technical challenges throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Project Coordination & Execution Develop and maintain project timelines, allocate resources, and establish priorities to ensure successful project completion. Track project progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions as needed. Ensure all installations meet company standards, customer expectations, and regulatory requirements. Field Team Management Lead, direct, and coordinate installers, service technicians, and subcontractors. Assign work schedules, monitor productivity, and provide guidance to field personnel. Promote a positive, accountable, and safety-focused work environment. Quality Control & Safety Compliance Verify that all work is performed in accordance with applicable codes, regulations, and company procedures. Conduct jobsite inspections and field visits as necessary to maintain quality standards and address issues proactively. Support and enforce workplace safety initiatives and best practices. Operational Support Oversee inventory levels, material deliveries, equipment availability, and jobsite logistics. Coordinate resources to ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget. Client Relations Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the installation process. Address client concerns, provide project updates, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction. Build and maintain strong customer relationships through responsive communication and problem-solving. Qualifications & Skills Experience Minimum of 5 years of hands-on HVAC experience, including work with oil and natural gas heating systems as well as air conditioning equipment, including mini-split and central air systems. Technical Expertise Strong knowledge of HVAC installation methods, industry standards, building codes, and related materials and equipment. Communication Skills Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with customers, vendors, and internal teams. Organizational Abilities Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, schedules, budgets, and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. Computer Skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and other Windows-based software programs. Salary $85,000-$100,000 #LI-DT1 #IND2
