General Construction Job Overview Fratello Construction Corp is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Construction Project Manager / Estimator to lead construction projects and manage competitive bid processes, with a strong emphasis on public-sector work. This dual-role position requires someone who is both strategic and hands-on—capable of managing field execution while producing accurate cost estimates for new opportunities. Learn more at www.fratelloconstruction.com Key Responsibilities Oversee all phases of assigned construction projects from planning through completion Maintain strong communication with clients, architects, and engineers Submit RFIs, change orders, and manage project documentation Track budget performance and prepare job cost reports Ensure projects meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards Coordinate and manage project schedules, subcontractors, and suppliers Monitor jobsite progress, address delays or field challenges, and ensure project stays on track Collaborate with field teams to ensure execution aligns with budget and contract documents Prepare detailed cost estimates, take-offs, and bid proposals for public and private sector opportunities Review bid packages and construction documents to identify scope and resource needs Qualifications 5+ years of experience in construction project management and estimating is required Proven track record managing public-sector or union construction projects Strong understanding of construction drawings, bid specs, and job costing Excellent organizational, time-management, and verbal/written communication skills Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing field staff Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with estimating software is a plus Self-starter with the ability to work independently and under deadlines No formal degree required—experience and drive matter most Benefits Medical Insurance (Health and Wellness Support) Paid Time Off- Holidays, Vacation, Sick Days Retirement Savings Program Weekly Pay Cycle Paid Training and Certifications Tech Package
