Header Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Assistant Superintendent to join our construction management team. In this vital role, you will support the successful delivery of commercial construction projects by coordinating on-site activities, supervising teams, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Responsibilities Assist in developing and maintaining detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 and other construction management software to ensure timely project completion. Supervise daily on-site operations, managing crews, subcontractors, and vendors to meet project specifications and deadlines. Review construction drawings and technical documents to verify accuracy and facilitate smooth execution of work. Coordinate construction activities with project managers, engineers, and clients to align project goals and resolve issues promptly. Monitor safety compliance by enforcing OSHA regulations and federal construction safety standards across all site activities. Conduct quality control inspections, oversee construction safety management practices, and ensure adherence to all relevant regulations. Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and daily reports using ProCore, Prolog, or similar software platforms. Skills Extensive experience with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera, HeavyBid, and Prolog. Strong knowledge of heavy civil construction processes including pipeline installation and large-scale commercial projects. Proven ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications accurately. Excellent project scheduling skills with a focus on construction schedule coordination and timeline management. Demonstrated supervisory experience managing teams in a construction environment with effective crew management skills. Deep understanding of construction regulations including OSHA standards and federal safety regulations. Skilled in budgeting, cost control, quality assurance, and managing multiple subcontractors simultaneously. Effective communication skills for managerial roles involving coordination with clients, vendors, crews, and senior management. Familiarity with Ohmmeter usage for electrical testing (if applicable) and overall construction safety management practices.
