Lead and mentor a team of carpenters, laborers, and subcontractors to complete tasks such as framing, trim carpentry, flooring installation, window installation, and hardscaping construction projects. Manage construction estimating processes to accurately assess material costs and labor requirements. Oversee building material installation including electrical systems, plumbing fixtures, glass installation, and hardscape elements. Conduct construction inspections to ensure quality control and compliance with safety standards. Operate heavy equipment and power tools safely for outdoor work and hardscaping projects while maintaining a focus on safety protocol adherence. Review construction plans regularly to ensure project specifications are met; interpret technical drawings for precise execution. Communicate effectively with clients, team members, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth project flow. Requirements Proven experience in construction management with a strong background in residential remodeling or building construction. Extensive hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and building material installation. Knowledge of construction estimating, inspection procedures, and interpreting technical drawings. Skilled in various aspects of remodeling including flooring installation, window installation, glass installation, electrical work, plumbing systems, trim carpentry, and hardscaping construction projects. Ability to lead teams effectively while maintaining a focus on safety protocols during outdoor work environments. Familiarity with Bluebeam software or similar digital tools for managing construction plans is preferred. Strong understanding of building codes and safety regulations applicable to residential projects.
