Job Description As a Building and Construction Project Executive in Rochester, you will: Provide executive oversight for multiple construction projects and project teams Lead project strategy from preconstruction through closeout Drive project financial performance, forecasting, and profitability Develop and maintain relationships with clients, design teams, and key stakeholders Mentor and support Project Managers and operational staff Review project schedules, budgets, risk assessments, and resource plans Ensure projects meet quality, safety, and contractual requirements Participate in business development and client relationship efforts Collaborate with operations leadership to maximize project performance Monitor and resolve high-level project risks and challenges Support recruiting, team development, and succession planning initiatives MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant The successful Project Excutive candidate in Rochester, NY will have: 10+ years of construction management experience Proven leadership experience managing large or multiple projects Strong financial, operational, and strategic planning abilities Experience leading project teams and mentoring staff Excellent communication and client-facing skills Ability to manage stakeholder relationships at all levels Strong understanding of project delivery methods, contracts, and risk management Demonstrated ability to drive project profitability and client satisfaction Preferred Qualifications Experience with a MEP General Contractor (GC) or construction management firm Background managing commercial, healthcare, institutional, industrial, or large-scale construction projects Experience overseeing multiple Project Managers and project teams Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field Strong business development and relationship management skills What's on Offer Competitive executive-level compensation Permanent position in the property industry.
