Your role To support the organization in its delivery of world-class levels of safety, health and environmental management and emergency preparedness.
Main Responsiblities:
Represent SHE during all site changes to ensure the management of change is done in accordance with
AC, VTBA, SUN
requirements Work collaboratively with appropriate parties to close open SHE actions in a timely manner Drive SHE projects to closure to improve sites overall RCE rating Perform risk assessments as needed for all work done at Ceres to identify and prioritize hazards Conduct regular SHE site tours, reporting minor issues directly to area owners and major issues directly to the SHE Manager Determine the root cause of any incidents/near misses so corrective actions can be implemented Develop, implement, and maintain a robust training program to ensure employees are aware of the hazards and their respective controls Manage the emergency response team to improve site preparedness for emergencies Support the SHE department as needed To succeed, you will need We encourage you to apply even if you don't meet every single requirement. Experience and education requirements A minimum of 3 years' experience within a multi-disciplined manufacturing environment. Degree and/or training in a manufacturing discipline with experience in environmental health & safety
ISO 14001/45001
certification and/or audit experience. Salary:
$70,000-$80,000 Job location This role requires you to work on-site at our office in Saugerties, NY. You will be part of a dynamic team and enjoy the benefits of face-to-face collaboration. Contact information
