Job Title:
Assistant Superintendent -
Luxury Residential Construction Location:
Projects throughout Southampton, East Hampton, Bridgehampton, Sag Harbor, Water Mill, and surrounding East End communities. We are seeking a motivated Assistant Site Superintendent who is passionate about high-end residential construction and eager to grow into a lead superintendent role. This position offers hands-on experience managing complex luxury projects while working directly with experienced Superintendents and Project Managers. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys being in the field, solving problems, coordinating trades, and learning every aspect of custom home construction.
Position Summary:
The Assistant Site Superintendent supports the Lead Superintendent in the daily management of luxury residential construction projects from pre-construction through final completion. This individual plays a critical role in maintaining project quality, schedule, safety, and organization while helping deliver an exceptional client experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Construction Operations Assist the Superintendent with the day-to-day management of field operations. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and deliveries. Help maintain project schedules and monitor progress against milestones. Verify work is completed in accordance with plans, specifications, and Bulgin quality standards. Assist with inspections and ensure work complies with all applicable building codes. Coordinate punch list completion and closeout activities. Quality Control Perform daily site walkthroughs. Identify deficiencies before they become costly issues. Ensure all work meets the exceptional standards expected in luxury residential construction. Document progress with photographs and field reports. Safety Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite. Enforce OSHA safety standards and company policies. Coordinate safety meetings as directed. Project Coordination Work closely with Project Managers to resolve field issues. Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, ASIs, and shop drawings. Identify missing information before it impacts construction. Assist with project scheduling and sequencing. Client & Design Team Communication Professionally interact with homeowners, architects, interior designers, engineers, and consultants. Help maintain the company's reputation for exceptional customer service. Communicate project updates clearly and professionally. Documentation Maintain accurate daily reports. Track deliveries and material inventories. Document field changes. Assist with change order documentation. Organize project files and construction records.
Qualifications:
Required 2-5 years of residential construction experience. Strong understanding of construction means and methods. Ability to read architectural and structural drawings. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Highly motivated with a willingness to learn. Valid driver's license. Ability to travel throughout the Hamptons and East End. Preferred Experience with luxury custom homes. Experience coordinating multiple subcontractors. Bluebeam Revu experience. Microsoft Office proficiency. OSHA 30 Certification. Ability to review shop drawings and specifications. Basic understanding of scheduling software.

2+ years Luxury custom residential construction: 1+ year
Pay:
$78,000.00 - $104,000.00 per year
