Job Description CoolSys is seeking a Project Manager to lead HVAC-R construction projects for retail, commercial, and industrial clients. In this role, you will manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and resources, coordinating field crews, subcontractors, and vendors to deliver high-quality mechanical and refrigeration systems. You'll drive safety compliance, ensure code and spec adherence, oversee change orders, and maintain accurate documentation. Working in a collaborative, hands-on environment, you'll support technical excellence, customer satisfaction, and energy-efficient, sustainable solutions nationwide. Responsibilities Plan, schedule, and manage HVAC-R construction projects from kickoff through closeout Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and vendors to meet scope, budget, and timeline Monitor project costs, change orders, and forecasts; report status to stakeholders Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company standards Conduct site walks, resolve field issues, and support installation quality control Maintain project documentation, RFIs, submittals, and progress reports Collaborate with customers to clarify requirements and manage expectations Identify risks and implement mitigation plans to keep projects on track Required Skills Construction project management HVAC-R systems knowledge Mechanical systems construction Budgeting and cost control Project scheduling (e.g., MS Project) Contract and change order management Reading construction drawings and specs Risk management and mitigation Vendor and subcontractor coordination Jobsite safety and OSHA compliance
