Job Description
Overview We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Lead Architect to spearhead our residential architectural projects and drive delivery for site plan, renovation, and repair designs. This pivotal role offers the opportunity to engage customers, coordinate delivery, and ensure projects meet the standards of quality, and regulatory compliance. As a Lead Architect, you will be at the forefront of architectural design and construction processes, fostering collaboration and delivering exceptional results that align with client visions and industry best practices. Duties Lead the delivery of architectural designs, including conceptual sketches, detailed construction drawings, and 3D models using CAD software such as Revit and AutoCAD. Oversee project scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery of high-quality projects while maintaining cost control through accurate construction estimating and negotiation with vendors. Manage the creation of construction documentation that adheres to building code analysis, accessibility regulations, sustainability standards, and construction regulatory compliance. Utilize process tools for integrated project management and generating documentation for client presentation. Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal teams to facilitate smooth communication, resolve design conflicts, and negotiate project scope changes effectively. Supervise the production of construction detail documentation to ensure clarity in construction accessibility features and interior design elements. Conduct building code analysis and review construction drawings to guarantee compliance with all relevant regulations while supporting renovation or interior design projects. Experience Proven experience in residential architectural design with a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in renovations and repair design practices. Extensive knowledge of CAD software (Revit, AutoCAD), project management tools (Microsoft based), AI software (Upcodes, Futurelot), and financial analysis. Demonstrated ability in project management including scheduling, budgeting, business development activities, and negotiation with clients or stakeholders. Construction experience with familiarity in construction management processes from initial planning through completion; knowledge of construction estimating is essential. Skilled in drafting detailed construction drawings and construction documentation that meet building code requirements and accessibility standards. Strong understanding of building code analysis, regulatory compliance procedures for various types of projects including renovation and interior design.
