Overview We are seeking an energetic and strategic General Forman - Construction to lead some of our construction operations with a focus on excellence, efficiency, and growth. In this pivotal role, you will oversee aspects of construction project execution, from planning and resource management to team leadership. Your expertise will drive operational success, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure the delivery of high-quality projects that meet client and management expectations. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic leader passionate about shaping the future of construction projects through innovative strategies and exceptional team development. Working under the company manager to complete smaller projects as they come up of which there are many so you will be kept busy. Responsibilities Lead and manage comprehensive construction projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope, and quality standards. Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize operational efficiency, project profitability, and customer satisfaction. Identify areas for improvement, and implement cost-saving initiatives. Supervise site team to promote high performance, safety compliance, and teamwork. Drive process improvements by adopting lean management principles to enhance workflow efficiency and reduce waste. Foster a culture of leadership by mentoring team members, encouraging professional growth, and developing future leaders within the organization. Oversee sites including scheduling, resource allocation, procurement, and compliance with safety regulations. Collaborate with management to align project goals. Proven management experience in large-scale construction or related industries with a strong track record of successful project delivery. Deep understanding of profit & loss management, financial analysis, and budget control within construction projects. Demonstrated expertise in project management methodologies including planning, scheduling, risk management, and quality assurance. Strong business management skills with the ability to develop strategic plans that drive growth and operational excellence. Exceptional team management capabilities with experience leading diverse teams across multiple projects or sites. Excellent managerial communication skills to effectively coordinate with management. Customer service orientation with a focus on building lasting client relationships through transparent communication and quality delivery. Investors sometimes pop in unannounced. Leadership qualities that inspire teams towards continuous improvement while maintaining safety standards and regulatory compliance. Experience supervising large or small teams in fast-paced environments with a focus on process improvement and lean management practices. Must have a valid driver license, car insurance, and must have reliable transportation. We do background checks which will be taken into consideration. This being said violent offenses cant be overlooked.
Pay:
$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
