Construction Superintendent

The purpose of this position is to provide the necessary planning, direction, and controls to support and augment the activities of the field personnel under his/her responsibility. The Field Superintendent will also oversee any subcontractors, and material suppliers associated with the project. Significant knowledge of the construction industry, both construction and maintenance. Knowledge of construction techniques, civil construction activity, and layout work. Must also possess the skills and knowledge to manage and organize work of other employees and subcontractors. Capable of reading and understanding drawings, specifications, codes, schedules, and manuals. Ability to manage and work with a diverse group of individuals with widely varying backgrounds while keeping the Owner/general contractor satisfied and the job on schedule and under cost. This function calls for an individual that is GOAL ORIENTED and committed to the company and its services. Requires a team player with integrity and concern for the end results of the company's associates and services.
