Plumbing Project Superintendent III

Job description Job Roles And Responsibilities Oversee all on-site construction activities including manpower, materials, and scheduling. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, contractors, and stakeholders. Ensure strict adherence to safety standards and conduct safety meetings and reporting. Perform project preplanning including reviewing drawings, material takeoffs, and crew requirements. Coordinate with CAD teams, fabrication shops, and subcontractors. Attend coordination meetings and manage all project-related communication. Develop and manage work schedules, ensuring productivity and minimal downtime. Monitor productivity by comparing estimates to actual performance. Manage procurement, material orders, deliveries, and inventory control. Conduct daily site inspections for progress, quality, and safety compliance. Lead and manage field personnel, subcontractors, and vendors. Ensure project closeout activities including testing, documentation, and final approvals. Maintain accurate project documentation including RFIs, submittals, and logs. Ensure proper cleanup and demobilization of job sites. Qualifications And Certifications Minimum 10 years of experience in commercial plumbing, piping, sprinkler, or heating systems. Strong knowledge of mechanical system installation and construction processes. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings. Experience with material takeoffs, scheduling, and field coordination. Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. High school diploma or equivalent; trade school preferred. Valid driver's license and relevant trade license required. OSHA 30 certification required; CPR certification preferred. Ability to operate tools, equipment, and heavy machinery. Physical ability to work in demanding construction environments.
