We're investing heavily in growing our commercial and new-construction division and are hiring a leader to build it. This is a confidential search. The Role We're hiring a Construction Manager to own our commercial and new-construction plumbing business. You'll report directly to the owner and run the division like it's your own: winning the work, staffing it, tracking it, and delivering it profitably. Experienced field foremen run the crews on site. Your job is to lead the business. What You'll Own Bidding and estimating: build proposals, win work, and track win/loss GC relationships: be the go-to contact for every general contractor we work with
Recruiting:
keep a steady pipeline of plumbers and build crews to match our workload Project control: know every active job's status, schedule, budget, and billing
Systems:
keep every project, proposal, and contract current in our field management software, and make sure field teams use it
Financials:
job costing, change orders, progress billing, and collecting on time
Visibility:
keep ownership informed on project status, pipeline, and staffing
Leadership:
coach foremen and hold crews to high standards for quality and safety What You Bring 5+ years in commercial or new-construction plumbing, including time running projects, not just working on them A track record estimating and bidding jobs, and managing multiple crews at once Strong GC relationships and an understanding of pay applications, retainage, and change orders Experience with field management software (e.g., ServiceTitan, Procore, or BuildOps) and the discipline to keep it current A reputation for follow-through and hitting deadlines Master plumbing license preferred
