DSP/House Manager Job Description The DSP/House Manager position is responsible for the delivery of residential services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Focus of the DSP/House Manager includes daily direct care, developing and working with your team to ensure the clients health and safety, independence, and happiness through providing exceptional and creative services.
DSP/House Manager Minimum Requirements:
• Must be at least 18 years of age Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, balance, and push, pull, or carry up to 50lbs. High School Diploma/ GED Availability to work any shift Preferred 2 years' Direct Care experience in supervisory role Previous experience providing supports to individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities is a must Must pass criminal background check Valid Driver's Ohio License/Insurance Must have reliable vehicle to use for transporting individuals served CPR/FA Certified (preferred, but not required) Med Certification ( preferred, but not required) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent computer and writing skills Ability to work independently Excellent decision making, time management and conflict resolution skills Coordinate and provide on-call direct care support The "Perfect Fit" for a DSP/HouseManager at

DSP/House Manager Essential Functions:
Providing day to day direction, training and supervision. Manage performance of direct support staff to include development, training, and providing feedback through performance evaluations. Preparation of staff schedules, review and approve electronic time entry, petty cash management. Ensures adherence to the client specific Individual Support Plan (ISP), and assist in creating same. Effective communication with all stakeholders, to include clients, family and guardians, social service agencies, staff, fellow supervisors, home managers, human resources, and director. Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Attend meetings and supply reports as required and requested. Maintain, utilize, and train others with operation of company technology (time tracking and client service delivery documentation).
