Job Description

Position Overview:
Hasen Global is seeking a dedicated and experienced Construction Superintendent to join our Frederick, MD team for a project at MansfieldLahm ANGB in Mansfield, OH. The project includes secure-area construction with project-specific construction security requirements. The Superintendent will be primarily responsible for managing subcontractors and coordinating day-to-day production and adherence to the approved project schedule. This is not a remote or hybrid position. Employee must be able to be granted access to Mansfield Lahm Air National Guard Base on a full-time basis. Work is expected to be Monday through Friday with some after-hours and weekend work required as necessary for project.
Required Qualifications Applicants must have:
At least 10 years of construction experience. At least 5 years of experience as a superintendent on projects of $10m or more OR multiple projects for government clients Familiarity with EM 385-1-1 and/or OSHA 30 certification. Demonstrated experience in hazard identification and construction safety compliance. The ability to manage critical-path construction schedules. The ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, blueprints, schematics, and other construction documents. The ability to read, write, and converse fluently in English The ability to communicate effectively in writing with subcontractors and client. Strong leadership and organizational skills US Citizens only Preferred Qualifications Excellent candidates posses: ICD-705 Construction Experience CQM-C Certification (Construction Quality Management for Contractors) Experience with Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or other scheduling software. An active security clearance Experience with working for Ohio Air National Guard, USACE, NAVFAC, or other MIL-COM construction experience Key Responsibilities The Project Superintendent will: Oversee and manage construction project from mobilization through completion with full-time onsite coverage. Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors. Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes, regulations, and safety standards. Direct construction sequencing and day-to-day production. Drive subcontractor performance to maintain project schedules and minimize delays. Communicate project requirements and expectations to subcontractors and field personnel. Monitor field progress and maintain adherence to the approved construction schedule, including adjustments as necessary. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to contract documents. Coordinate field activities with the Project Manager, Quality Control Manager, Site Safety and Health Officer, subcontractor foremen, and other project personnel. Attend required meetings. Enforce compliance with contract documents, subcontractor work orders, and blanket agreements. Participate in preparatory and initial-phase quality-control meetings for applicable definable features of work. Attend required pre-final and final inspections. Collaborate with project teams, client, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently. Manage the project to support timely completion and Government acceptance.
