Construction Superintendent-Traveling

Overview:

Kline Rostocil Construction (KRC) is a 45 year-old general contracting company licensed and registered in 33 states. KRC specializes in building and or renovating controlled environment facilities such as veterinary hospitals, imaging centers and medical facilities nationwide. We are looking for quality driven, safety conscious, dedicated professionals to join our team. The project superintendent must have a minimum of 5 years experience in new commercial construction with occupied renovation experience. The project superintendent's responsibility is to know the construction documents, manage the on-site subcontractors and suppliers, coordinate RFI's, ASI's, logs, schedules, project reports, daily logs and photos, etc. Candidate must be able to communicate with the customer, municipality and company management. Candidate must be proficient with electronic technology and software such as Word, Excel, MS Project, and ProCore, and must be safety conscious and have (or will receive) minimum OSHA 30 Hour certification. The project superintendent is responsible for the successful completion of the project. The ability to travel is helpful.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage all on-site construction activities, including subcontractors and vendors
• Ensure that construction projects are executed in accordance with plans, specifications, and local building codes
• Collaborate with project managers to develop project schedules and coordinate resources
• Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and implement corrective actions
• Oversee construction estimating, budgeting, and cost control activities
• Review and interpret construction drawings, schematics, and blueprints
• Implement and enforce safety protocols in compliance with OSHA regulations
• Conduct quality control inspections to ensure workmanship meets established standards
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, progress photos, and change orders

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent or similar role
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and materials
• Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore and Microsoft Project
• Familiarity with blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and commitment to safety

High school or equivalent (Preferred)
