Job Description

Position:
3rd-5th Grade Enrichment Coordinator for the 2026-27 School Year. This position will be open until filled.
After-School Enrichment Coordinator Position Title:

$3,000 Position Overview The Enrichment Coordinator is responsible for the vision, organization, and execution of the district's after-school enrichment programming designed for students identified as TAG or otherwise invited by schools for enrichment purposes. This role ensures that students have access to high-quality, engaging, and safe extracurricular activities that extend learning beyond the traditional school day. The Coordinator manages the logistical aspects of the program while providing direct supervision to students across various school environments. Primary Responsibilities Program Organization & Direct Instruction Plan a year-long calendar of events and direct 18 one-hour sessions with students, focusing on age-appropriate enrichment activities. Manage student transitions and behavior in various settings, including classrooms, the auditorium, and other designated meeting areas. Ensure all activities align with district safety standards and educational goals. Administrative & Prep Duties Utilize preparation time to source materials, design curriculum, and coordinate logistics. Communicate program schedules and requirements to students, parents, and school staff. Coordinate the use of facilities and equipment with building administration. Budget will be developed on a yearly basis with immediate supervisor, business manager, and affiliated schools Data Tracking & Reporting Report year-long calendar of events prior to start of year for supervisor approval. Data management, including attendance tracking and student participation metrics. Compile and submit a comprehensive End-of-Year (EOY) Report to the Superintendent or designee, outlining program successes, challenges, and recommendations for future sessions. Performance Requirements Category Requirement Direct Student Contact 18 hours (Sessions) Preparation Time As needed for 18 sessions Administrative/Reporting As needed for data reporting, attendance, end of year report Supervision Maintain active supervision of all students during program hours. Compliance Adhere to all district policies and safety protocols. Qualifications Teacher Certification or Teaching History Required Strong organizational and leadership skills. Ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders (students, parents, and administration). Experience in classroom management and student supervision in large-group settings (e.g., auditoriums). Current district employee preferred (or as specified by collective bargaining agreements).
