Ameresco is looking for a Site Construction Manager to oversee the renovation of an existing public sector central plant based in Eugene, Oregon . The chosen candidate will oversee the construction process throughout the entire project life cycle from mobilization to closeout.Responsibilities:
Follow Ameresco's Safety protocols and ensure subcontractor compliance. This includes managing the site safety plan and execution and working with all trades to ensure safety requirements are fulfilled and documented on a daily/weekly basis. Manage RFI's, submittals, SDS documentation, construction budgets, CO & CO Logs, AHJ/special inspections and state compliance documentation in Procore. Provide and distribute daily reports, includes monitoring subcontractor progress and identifying installation deficiencies Manage critical path schedules monthly in Microsoft Project. Update 3-week look-a-head schedules on a weekly basis. Coordinate permit and third-party inspections as necessary. Oversee and manage weekly construction meetings to update stakeholders on construction progress and address unforeseen conditions. Manage subcontractors and the ability to understand QA/QC requirements and deliverables for each trade. Manage site and general condition requirements. Including scheduling equipment rentals and site services as needed throughout construction. Willingness to adjust work schedule as needed to support operations including working nights for a portion of the project. Other duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in construction management or related field; or, the equivalent combination of education and relevant field experience. Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in construction management for complex industrial processes, structural buildouts, or managing large commercial/industrial MEP construction projects.Additional Qualifications:
Proven track record of successfully overseeing construction projects, implementing cost control measures and identifying change order opportunities, managing and forecasting multimillion dollar construction budgets, meeting critical path schedules and substantial completion milestones for large MEP renovations and new builds. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and other construction documents. Exhibit a working knowledge of P&ID instrument integration. Knowledge of managing work within hazardous area classifications Knowledge of OSHA construction safety protocols and regulations. Require OSHA 30 certification (or commitment to recertification if expired). Possess strong leadership qualities to manage and motivate all construction crews. Effective communication skills to interact with clients, Architects, Subcontractors, and other Stakeholders. Ability to identify and resolve issues on the construction site promptly. Proven decision-making skills to navigate challenges and make informed choices. Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time management skills Ability to work under pressure and consistently meet deadlines.
