Join our team today! Project Superintendents/Foremen work with Project Managers in the planning, coordinating, implementing and monitoring of construction activities on our projects. We are looking for a competent Civil Construction Superintendent/Foreman to coordinate operations and oversee workers at construction sites. You will be the point of reference of workers, supervisors, project owners and agencies. You will be a key person for the completion of a project. Responsibilities Coordinate tasks according to priorities and plans Produce schedules and monitor attendance of crew Allocate general and daily responsibilities Supervise and train workers Ensure manpower and resources are adequate Supervise subcontractors Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are met Supervise the use of machinery and equipment Monitor expenditure and ensure it remains within budget Resolve problems when they arise Report on progress to managers, engineers etc. Qualifications Applicant must be well-organized and favor safety above everything else. This position requires an extensive background in excavation, grading, pipe work, road and highway reconstruction, airfield experience and full knowledge of traffic control. Applicant must assume a leadership role in managing all daily construction site operations. Must be able to read and understand plans, specifications, and efficiently schedule work. We are looking for applicants with a minimum of five years of experience. Proven experience as construction foreman (5yrs.
