Job Description Amazon Web Services, Inc. is seeking a Construction Manager to lead complex data center and infrastructure projects supporting AWS's global cloud platform. In this role, you will coordinate operations, IT, and support engineering teams to deliver highly reliable, scalable facilities. You will own schedules, budgets, vendor management, and quality, using data to manage risk and drive continuous improvement. You'll thrive in AWS's customer-obsessed, innovative culture and gain exposure to cutting-edge cloud and infrastructure technologies while shaping the future of computing. Responsibilities Lead end-to-end planning and delivery of data center construction and infrastructure projects for AWS. Coordinate across operations, IT, and support engineering teams to align construction with technical requirements. Manage vendor relationships, contracts, schedules, and budgets to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery. Implement and enforce safety, quality, and compliance standards across all construction activities. Use data and metrics to track progress, identify risks, and drive continuous improvement. Partner with stakeholders to define scope, requirements, and acceptance criteria for new builds and upgrades. Prepare status reports and present project updates to leadership and cross-functional teams. Drive issue resolution, change management, and root-cause analysis for construction and operations problems. Support capacity planning and scalability for AWS infrastructure growth in assigned region. Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of ownership, learning, and high standards.
