Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee electrical construction activities on a large-scale, mission-critical data center project. This individual will be responsible for coordinating field operations, managing electrical subcontractors and crews, maintaining project schedules, and ensuring all work is completed safely and to the required quality standards. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of complex electrical systems, mission-critical infrastructure, commissioning requirements, and the fast-paced demands of data center construction. Key Responsibilities Manage all electrical field operations from installation through testing, commissioning, and project turnover. Supervise electrical subcontractors, field personnel, vendors, and equipment deliveries. Coordinate daily electrical activities with project management, general contractors, other trades, and the client. Review electrical drawings, specifications, submittals, shop drawings, BIM models, and installation details. Oversee the installation of medium- and low-voltage electrical systems, switchgear, transformers, generators, UPS systems, PDUs, busway, grounding, lighting, controls, and associated infrastructure. Develop and maintain short-term schedules, manpower plans, material forecasts, and equipment requirements. Monitor project progress and ensure electrical work remains aligned with the overall construction schedule. Identify potential design conflicts, constructability issues, schedule risks, and material constraints before they affect project delivery. Lead daily coordination meetings, toolbox talks, safety meetings, and electrical planning sessions. Enforce project safety requirements, quality-control procedures, and company standards. Conduct regular field inspections to confirm installations comply with drawings, specifications, applicable codes, and approved methods. Coordinate electrical shutdowns, energisation activities, testing procedures, and commissioning sequences. Support QA/QC documentation, inspections, punch-list completion, functional testing, and turnover packages. Track electrical changes, RFIs, field directives, deficiencies, and outstanding work. Maintain accurate daily reports covering manpower, completed work, deliveries, delays, safety matters, and site conditions. Build productive working relationships with clients, engineers, inspectors, subcontractors, and project stakeholders. Mentor assistant superintendents, foremen, and field personnel while promoting accountability and high performance. Qualifications Minimum of 7 years of electrical construction experience, including experience in a superintendent or senior field-leadership position. Previous experience delivering data centers, mission-critical facilities, industrial or commercial projects. Strong knowledge of medium-voltage distribution, emergency power, generators, switchgear, UPS systems, PDUs, busway, grounding, controls, and life-safety systems. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, one-line diagrams, specifications, coordination drawings, and construction schedules. Working knowledge of the National Electrical Code, NFPA standards, OSHA regulations, and electrical safety procedures. Strong leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities. Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and workstreams in a fast-paced construction environment. OSHA 30 certification is preferred.

Pay:
