Job Description
Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical Supervisor to oversee electrical operations on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with all relevant regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities, technical expertise in electrical systems, and comprehensive knowledge of construction management practices. This role offers an opportunity to lead teams, coordinate complex schedules, and uphold the highest standards of safety and quality in commercial construction projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate electrical installation activities across multiple construction sites Manage and direct electrical crews, ensuring adherence to project timelines and safety protocols Review construction drawings and technical specifications to verify compliance with design intent Monitor project progress through detailed scheduling using Primavera P6 or similar software Conduct regular site inspections to ensure safety standards are maintained in accordance with OSHA and federal regulations Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues promptly Oversee quality control processes, including blueprint reading, technical drawing review, and inspection of electrical work Maintain accurate documentation of work progress, change orders, and safety reports using construction management software such as ProCore or Prolog Manage procurement of materials and equipment, ensuring timely delivery and budget adherence Enforce construction safety management practices and conduct safety meetings regularly Requirements Proven experience supervising electrical teams within commercial or heavy civil construction projects Strong knowledge of construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera, and Management tools like Prolog Familiarity with construction scheduling, budgeting, and project management principles Extensive understanding of OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics accurately Demonstrated skills in managing teams effectively on busy construction sites Experience with blueprint reading, technical drawing review, and quality control procedures Knowledge of construction regulations related to electrical systems and safety practices Proficiency in using Ohmmeters for electrical testing and troubleshooting Excellent managerial communication skills for managing crews and coordinating with stakeholders Construction site experience with a focus on safety management and regulatory compliance If you are a motivated leader with a passion for delivering high-quality electrical work within complex construction projects, we encourage you to apply.
