Job Description

Seeking a Commercial Construction Superintendent with a minimum of five years' experience in the field. The Construction Superintendent is responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations of construction crews on site, including the safety of workers and the quality of work. This position requires strong leadership skills, flexibility, and expertise with scheduling and personnel/subcontractor management.
Responsibilities:
Manage all members of the team. Communicate with the owner on a regular basis. Make sure projects are completed on time and within budget. Understand scheduling and milestones. Create three week look ahead schedules. Check that all construction activity is in compliance with building codes and industry standards. Meet with the architect to go over designs. Monitor safety on the jobsite. Work closely with contractors to ensure they are meeting deadlines. Develop appropriate solutions to problems that arise. Have strong business acumen.
