Job Description Assist the Superintendent in managing day-to-day construction site operations. Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel. Monitor project schedules and support progress toward key milestones. Conduct site walkthroughs to ensure quality standards are met. Enforce safety policies and OSHA compliance requirements. Maintain daily logs, reports, and project documentation. Assist with project planning, logistics, and site coordination. Track deliveries, materials, and equipment needs. Participate in subcontractor and safety meetings. Help identify and resolve field issues to minimize project delays. Support project closeout activities, punch lists, and final inspections. The Successful Applicant A successful Building and Construction Assistant Superintendent should have: 2+ years of commercial construction experience. Experience supporting field operations on commercial construction projects. Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications. Knowledge of construction sequencing and jobsite coordination. Understanding of OSHA safety regulations and best practices. Strong organizational and communication skills. Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Office. Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred. OSHA 30 certification is a plus.
