Job Description
Overview:
As an Associate Director of Philadelphia Residential at the Barber National Institute, you will play a vital leadership role in ensuring care and support for individuals with disabilities. Working in collaboration with a team of Associate Directors, you will oversee program operations, staff development, and strategic initiatives to enhance service delivery. This role is ideal for a leader who thrives on empathy, problem-solving, fostering collaboration, and driving continuous improvement.What You'll Bring:

Bachelor's degree with 2+ years of management experience and 2+ years working with individuals with intellectual disabilities/autism, or Associate's degree with 5+ years of management experience and 2+ years working with individuals with intellectual disabilities/autism. Experience in program oversight, compliance, and strategic planning. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Pre-hire Clearances:
State Police Criminal Record Check, Child Abuse Clearance, FBI Clearance (if you have not lived in PA for the past 2 years).A Typical Day May Include:
Providing leadership and guidance to program specialists, residential supervisors, and direct care staff. Ensuring the highest standards of care, safety, and well-being for individuals in group homes. Overseeing program operations, staffing, and compliance to meet regulatory standards. Driving initiatives to improve efficiency, service delivery, and staff development. Conducting site visits to provide support, mentorship, and quality assurance. Collaborating with HR on hiring, training, and performance management. Managing data collection, reporting, and continuous program evaluation.
