Philadelphia, PA Job Details Full-time $85,000 - $100,000 a year 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Paid time off 401(k) matching Qualifications Computer operation Project Management Microsoft Excel Schedule management Commercial building projects Certified Project Manager Full Job Description Summary The project manager, will have experiance with commerical construction to plan, schedule and direct all activities concerned with the GC interior and exterior renovation and ground up build projects. Participates in the conceptual development of a commerical construction project and oversees its organization, scheduling implementation and job progress through completion. Helping the esitmator get bids in for all trades on new projects by sending bid invites out using software and following up to ensure bid are accurate. Must have experience working for a General Contractor company. 1. Work with superintendents and foremen to plan, organize and direct activities concerned with construction projects. 2. Work with all trade subcontractors and have knowledge of ground up build. 2. Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards within boundaries of company policy and contract specifications. Confer with supervisors and subcontractors to discuss such matters as work procedures, quality of work and adhering to the construction drawings and plans. 3. Initiate and maintain liaison with owners and other contacts to facilitate project activities. 4. Monitor and control project through administrative direction of on-site supervisor to ensure project is completed on schedule and within budget. 5. Investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures. 6. Represent company in project meetings and attend strategy meetings. 7. May requisition supplies and materials to complete project. 8. Creat job scheduled and update look ahead. 9. Formulate reports concerning such areas as work progress, costs and scheduling. 10. Facilitate RFIs and Change Order Requests. 11. Help estimator with obtiaing bids on new projects and bid leveling. Competencies 1. Communication Proficiency. 2. Leadership. 3. Project Management. 4. Detail and follow up orientation. 5. Excel program/computer skills, understanding drawings. 6. Some travel at times required. Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., 40 hours per week. Required Education and Experience 1. 8-10 years of Project Management Position for Commercial/Restaurant and Multifamily experience. . 2. Ground Up Build required. 3. Resturant knowledge a plus. 4. College/Certification in Project Management a plus. 5. Must be computer literate.
