A Construction Project Manager supervises construction projects from beginning to end, ensuring that projects are completed within time and budgetary constraints. Controls the time, cost and quality of construction projects, from residential, commercial and industrial buildings to roads, bridges and schools. Plans and coordinate all aspects of the construction process, including hiring contractors and working with engineers, architects and vendors.

General Skills and Qualities:
- A strong understanding of civil construction and earthwork
- The ability to run multiple projects and tasks within those projects
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Strong attention to details
- Aptitude to lead a team in completing projects to high-quality standards
Education:
- Minimum of 5 years of Civil Construction Management or equivalent construction-related experience.
- Civil Engineering Degree is a bonus but not required. Qualified Candidates will be expected to perform the various responsibilities:
Project Manager:
Coordinate all estimated project logistics needed to begin and maintain construction from labor & equipment resources, vendor buyout, and required paperwork. Stay in constant contact with field supervision to measure construction activity and the financial status of job progress.Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide Value Engineering
- Negotiate buyout of all vendors and subcontractors as needed.
- Create a project schedule based on the scope of work and crew needed.
- Manage projects and project costs by coordinating with Superintendents and Foreman.
- Recognize and develop RFI's and Change Orders
- Identify project risks and develop contingency plans to diminish them.
Computer Skills:
- MS Office Suite
- Mandatory
- IOS and/or Android software
- Mandatory
- Estimating Software
- Trimble GPS & Control, Trimble Business Center, and Propeller is a plus!
