Construction Manager Pittsburgh, PA 2 DAYS AGO 22533649 Summary Pittsburgh, PA In-Person Competitive Salary 2 Years Experience Bachelor's degree No Commission 40.00 hours per week / Day, Evening Shift / Full-Time Description Responsible not limited to the following: Bid or contract projects for commercial buildings using various Facade Enclosure Systems, CWs (Curtain Walls), Glass, 3D Sheets Metal Panels or Steel Structures Bid or contract projects for pre-engineered buildings Evaluate specific capabilities, limitations of specified manufacturers or products on projects as well as feasible alternative products. Responsible for evaluating project related Architectural and Structural drawings, product specifications provided for the project and raising necessary RFI with Architects or Contractors Will ensure delivery of Project Outputs, including but not limited to; key plans, shop drawings, GN sheets, custom details, bills of material, fabrication sketches and cost estimates for the submission. Will plan, forecast, hire and manage in house staff and the necessary outside engineers and subcontractors to deliver output. Study and develop service offerings for new types of facade materials and deployment techniques. Provide leadership, technical direction/expertise, and training to staff. Ensure technical accuracy and soundness of output. Identity, pilot and implement new technologies that will enhance service offerings.

Must have:

Bachelor Degree or foreign equivalent in Civil Engineering, Engineering, Operations Management or related field. 2 years of experience in Commercial Building Construction work with various facade enclosure systems, CWs (Curtain Walls), Glass Facade, Concrete, 3D sheet metal, steel structures and pre-engineered buildings. Experience in cost estimation for construction projects. Experience in use of essential tools - AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Revit and Inventor.
